International and Interdenominational.
As an International Congregation, Union Church draws its members from over 20 countries including Guatemalans. Union Church is constantly reach out for new people to join the congregation due to the highly transient makeup of its attendees. Many of them are here in Guatemala only for 2 or 3 years at the most. As an Interdenominational Congregation, Union Church embraces people from many denominational backgrounds, focusing on major beliefs everyone shares in common, such as the faith in One God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the authority of the Bible. When it comes to denominational distinctives, members all agree to learn from each other’s faith traditions. At times, members agree to disagree without being disagreeable!
New To Union Church
Every human being needs to worship their Creator. Union offers four different styles of worship to help you express your love for God. If you love tradition and liturgy, the Sunday Traditional Service at 11 AM is designed for you. If you love Praise and Worship music while clapping your hands, try out the Sunday Contemporary Service at 8:15 AM. If you’re into more interactive worship (an art center, prayer stations and discussion-based messages) then come Sunday nights at 6:00 PM to The Worship Experience. On Thursdays Union offers a quiet, reflective 30 minute Contemplative Communion Service at 12:15 PM. Union Church welcomes you to check out one of its worship services. Find a style that helps you connect with God.
