The Guatemalan-American Institute, or GAI, is an educational establishment which also serves as Guatemala's largest distributor of books, with staff trained in valuation and sales. They sell text books in English and Spanish at all levels from pre-primary to university. Subjects covered include management, business, economics, biology, chemistry and general interest. With 55 years of experience, they run two shops in Guatemala City (Zone 4, +502 0362 4001 and at Landivar University, and one in Quetzaltenango (tel/fax +1 502 0765 0641).
