The little hidden 'Old Town Yard' (Altstadthof) is little known to those who do not live in the city. Nuremberg natives meet here to catch up over a beer from the city's smallest brewery or to browse around the antiques markets. The small, privately run theatre which is situated here should not be overlooked. Every year, its productions get more interesting and wide-ranging and many small-scale guest plays find a niche here. In the summer, there are usually also outdoor performances.
