Description
This mobile theater for the region has its base in Hanover and was founded in 1952. The performers tour through the towns and villages in Lower Saxony, which do not have their own theater. This purpose has been very well combined with a varying and high quality program. Of course, classical dramas and musicals dominate, but theater for young people also plays a major role. The so-called theater sport, where two teams compete with each other, spontaneously improvising on the lines provided by the audience is great fun. The house has a visually and acoustically well-equipped big stage with 490 seats and a small studio stage called Dinner Theater, where a set meal is served during the performance.
