South American flair in the heart of Germany
This restaurant in the heart of Hanover offers fine South American cuisine as well as Tex-Mex entrées (such as fajitas). They are well known for their steaks; although for American steak lovers, you should know that they only have three degrees of "done:" Well-done, medium, and "English," which is close to medium rare. The desserts are quite delicious. I especially recommend the Caramel Fantasia.
The ambiance is quite nice and unlike other German restaurants, the host or hostess will seat you. Reservations can be made and probably should, especially on Fridays or the weekends, because the place can fill up quickly. In the warm months, one can also sit outside and dine.
Children are also welcome here. They provide a children's menu as well as coloring pencils for the kids. High chairs are also available. All in all, the is a wonderful restaurant.
