It was my brother's 25th birthday June 11th, we were a group of 6 and I wanted my brother to have a memorable 25th. We all came in we sat down I had brought a cake that need refridgeration, when it came time for the cake the girl didn't even light the cake and they didn't come singing. We had to prepare it ourselve and call the girls to come over and sing. It was very disapointing. On top of that the cake was soggy and the whip cream was melting. Plus our server seemed very stuck up the ass not even acknowledging or saying Happy Birthday to the birthday boy.
Hooters in Fremont is probably OK but my experience was not good: food OK, drinks OK, honesty not OK. I paid my bill for six people with a credit card & included a 15% tip. When I checked my credit card bill, I had been charged an extra $2.00!! Not much money but way too much improvisation with MY credit card.
I've been a regular at the Dublin Hooters since it opened and I like it a lot. I've even taken our Corvette Club there a number of times and they've always been very helpful, even giving away free prizes. The girls are great and it's almost always a good experience.
On the other hand, I've only been to the new one in Fremont once, and while it has a nice large interior and layout, I wasn't very impressed with the service. It took too long to get a drink at the bar, the service wasn't very courteous, and frankly, the girls aren't up to the quality of Dublin... except for a few from Dublin who were working there when they were originally opening it up. Let's hope it improves.
My club memember and I went to the Hooter's in Fremont on Friday May 11,2207. First of there was 7 in our party and they made all of us sit in a booth for about 4 to five people, we asked for another table all they did was give us the run aorund! We waited on our drinks for 1 hr, the oysters were gross! The soup and all the appetizers were to oily.. I will never go there again!
This was the location of an excellent Bob's Big Boy. It then became Coco's, and later Hooters. There have been almost no problems with drunks etc. This was a big concern (with good reason) when Hooters was considered after Coco's. The small sign is nice too so there is not much of an offensive look to it with the owls eyes. Still nothing could beat Bob's Big Boy.
