Located near the University of Bonn and the Alter Zoll, almost on the Rhine embankment, the Lenne-Haus was built by Peter-Josef Lenne, one of the greatest masters of landscape architecture who created many park and garden complexes throughout Germany and a Rhineland native. One of his biggest projects was the Schlossgarten in Berlin. Lenne built the house with the hopes that he would spend his last days in the area where he grew up.
