One of the best-known landmarks of Tampere, the tower commands spectacular views in all directions. Even the lift to the indoor lookout terrace(at a height of 120 meters) is an adventure, as the lift moves at six meters per second. The whole ride up takes 27 seconds. There is also an outdoor terrace nine meters below; you'll be surprised at how hard the wind blows at that altitude.
