Ruinas de Matasiete, Tlapa de Comonfort

A Spanish fort from the 17th century is now an open-air cabaret staging small shows. Vines and ferns embellish the spacious nightspot dotted with tables. On Tuesdays, it's cabaret night, the rest of the week it's a disco. The clientele is generally young, so the atmosphere is lively. Its proximity to El Barracón cafe and an improvised game room effectively puts it the category of an entertainment complex open round-the-clock. Beverages are served including Cuban rum and mixed drinks.
