If the body yearns for a quick escape from downtown Xiamen's busy, building-lined streets, this lush park is the perfect answer. A fan of footpaths wanders through the park's tropical landscape of palm trees and ferns, wildly colored flower gardens and mind-calming ponds. Entry is free which is an added bonus. There is a small cafe/shop, a small fairground for the children and boats for hire on the lake.
