Amber Court, Xiamen

There is nothing fancy here, just casual, round-the-clock dining with a western bent. Appropriately located in the Best Western Xiamen, the largest four-star hotel in the Fujian province, it caters to both guests and late night revelers. Steaks, salads, soups, sandwiches, pasta, chicken dishes, pancakes and eggs dominate the menu. It is akin to an American version of Perkins or Denny's, minus, of course, the gum chewing waitress who refers to everyone as 'hun.' Breakfast tends to be its busiest meal.
