Description
Located north of town in Beiling Park , this famous site is one of the area's top attractions. It took eight years the burial site of Huang Taiji, founder of the Qing Dynasty and son of Nurhaci, finally completed in 1643. A path leading to the tomb's entrance (the Worshiping Walk) is lined with statues of elephants, lions and horses. Combined with the surrounding cedar trees, this site is a dramatic setting for meditation and exploration.
