Shenyang Steam Locomotive Exhibition Hall, Shenyang

It is only fitting that the first city in China to develop railway lines lays claim to the largest railroad museum in the country. The Engine Exhibition Hall, its most impressive display, houses 20 steam engines from all over the globe. A DB1 miniature steam locomotive from America, the museum's oldest, dates back to 1907. And there is also a rare Japanese SL 7 steam locomotive built by Suzuki. The Popular Science Exhibition Hall is also a crowd pleaser and is known to make visitors ponder the marvels of machinery as well as why this museum is located in the Shenyang Botanical Garden .
