Ajisen Ramen originated from Kumamoto in Kyushu, Japan in 1968. The famous chewy, straight and thin ramen coupled with the secret recipe of our tonkotsu soup base (white soup base from which bones, meat, vegetables and other fine ingredients are cooked for many hours producing a milky white broth) has been widely commended in Japan, and has been introduced to the rest of the world since 1995. Today, Ajisen Ramen totals over 600 branches all over the world, namely Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, Canada and the U.S.A.
Oh gosh! I never been to any other restaurant who'll remember you, know the usual order, give you an excellent service compared to any other asian restaurants. I love their beef and seafood ramen. It's way too excellent than Noodle World! Eddie, their manager is efficient and very friendly together with their crew. I recommend it to people who loves Asian Foods. This is the BEST ASIAN RESTAURANT ever!!! Five stars are not enough to rate them.
The food is very good i've been there many times, but their service is god awful. They seat you in these very small cramped tables, the waiters show up a total of 3 times, to take your order, bring it and pick up your check. They never show up once for refills or if you need any other type of service they are very rude and inattentive. They're racist too if you're not asian(chinese) they don't even acknowledge your entrance to the restaurant. If you decide not to tip them for their awful service they will even chase you down demanding tip. So please don't eat there.
The restaurant is in a predominantly Chinese area, so its not very authentic. However, I loved the ramen here. The popcorn chicken is crispy and flavorful. I heard the beef ramen was also very good. The soup can be more flavorful, but it was still really good. The waitresses are rude. The chefs, however, were very friendly.
Food was average, and the service mediocre. Not worth the high prices. Showed up w/wife around 3pm, and even though there were many empty tables, the waiter (name was Henry) made us sit in a tight, narrow table instead of the available larger tables for 4. We should have left, but decided to give the food a try. Never going back.
