Keg Steakhouse and Bar has plenty of experience preparing steak to exact specifications. The place is dimly lit and quiet, suitable for family dining. The patio is especially lively, and nightly drink specials ensure a festive atmosphere. Salmon is the only fish dish, but there is a large salad bar and the restaurant has promotional deals that change every six weeks. Food was cold, service was slow

I like the ambiance of this place, its nice for a date and centrally located. The food is tasty and the amount of food you get is rasonable, but the service has been slow and the food cold the last 3 times I have gone there. I love a good steak and this place had always been good except for the last year or so. I don't know if the management changed or just my luck. I went to the Keg in Brandon and the service and the food were amazing....even better than Hy's or Ray and Gerry's here in the eg. I would go back to the Keg but it is not one of my favorite steak places anymore but I am hoping things will get better.....I just don't give up that easy.

Nutin but the best!

This place has the best steak ever and I even use to be a vegetarian so that must say it is good! Located next to the Fort Garry Motel, it is a must visit on a night away. Stay at the Gary and eat supper at the Keg! It's the only way to do it!
