Keg Steakhouse and Bar (The), Winnipeg

while on a business trip to winnipeg with Ceridian Canada we dined at the the Keg which I usually do in Toronto, myself and another guest from Vancounver...our meal was not up to par..Leslie's mashed potatoes were cold and my steak was very tough. We actually had to eat when we got back to the Fort Garry hotel...check # 166419...dining . table 16 ...Stacey service was good we did not complain as I was more embarassed at having chosen the place our other friend who paid her own was equally disappointed...on Sunday feb 12th 2005 Obviously we did not go back to the Keg that week...

Like I said, this has got to be the place where you can get the best steak that you have ever tasted. Yummmy! The service is efficient and you are always greeted with a smile. This restaurant not only has steak, but it has chicken, which by the was is out of this world, and they have pasta and seafood as well, but you have to be careful the KEG size drinks go down way to good. (hehe) You get good food at a great price. My friends and I recommend this restaurant to anyone who want a excellent steak and a BIG drink.

we had a very lovely evening at your new location. great food service was excellent. the prices are a bit higher but very well worth the taste and service that we got. i will have no trouble saying to my friends hey go to the Keg. your manager and staff there are to be thanked for there good service . regards. the Bugera family

My favorite of the 3 kegs in Winnipeg. You can still find a quiet corner in this restaurant to enjoy talking to (instead of yelling at) your company. Food and service is always top notch.

I've been to the Keg across from the Fort Garry Hotel about 4 times and everytime the steak and prime rib I had was awesome!!
