Same Old

I was a fan of LVG, till they got a young hotshot chef. After my order was placed, apps came ot 30 min. Above average. Mains took an hour and the steak(med rare), came out med well. And the desserts, while had phenominal presentation, also took way too long.
Now that same hotshot chef is pulling the same stunts at Velvet Glove.
For a menu that is coast to coast canadian, it more than leans towards French Cuisine-French Onion Soup, Escargot, Pates, Rilets, Steak Poivere. And still takes forever to come out. But unlike at LVG, they came out cold.
And for a dead time of year, Slow-Cold Food is completely unacceptable.
