My wife and I went to this place this evening after reading several good reviews about it. The food was very close to excellent, and portions huge....HOWEVER, the service was non-existent. You never saw your waitress from the moment she dropped your food off till the moment she dropped your check off, never once asking us how everything was or if we wanted anything else. At the beginning of the meal I was burning alive from a super hot salsa, there was no water in sight nor was there ever any brought. This place makes me think of a self serve restraunt. The loud noise coming from the bar was the only ambience to be had. As I said great food but perhaps if there is a next time I should bring my own water and hope I don't need anything during the meal.
I used to go to Cafe Paradiso when I wanted some Mexican food but they seem to have gotten a little lazy when it comes to making their customers happy. La Posada has great food and they try harder, which I appreciate. I love their carne asada.
I don't need to ever go to another mexican resturant,( there are a few others in town) but.. this is the only one with a unique, just right flavor. I can't help but get the Nachos each time I go. Great price, prefect flavor, and usually great service. Although the last time I went with friends, we got there after the church rush. The waitress must of been exhausted, or got out of the mode somehow. I'd still recomend this anyday to anyone. Tell'em Roses sent you!....sorry, that won't get you a discount thou!
Mmmmmmm! My husband and I love La Posada in Paradise. We've eaten there 3 or 4 times now and its always been consistently terrific. The last time I was there I had the Ceviche and WOW! - it was wonderful!
