Warner Park Zoo, Chattanooga

I was amazed and super happy as an animal lover to see all the efforts the keepers were doing to keep their animals happy. They give them daily treats in surprise objects to keep their mind active and to raise their interest. The keepers try to entertain the animals so that they don't get bored. This is a fun display for the viewers too. I saw animals that I had never seen in any zoo ... and trust me, I have visited many all over Europe and the United States. Great place to visit.

This zoo is awesome and we,ve been to many. You”ll never get the great pictures of the Red Panda and Snow Leopards as you’ll get there. They are all out playing, walking around, and eating and they have the most awesome and roomy enclosures. They also have a Cougar, owls & other birds, monkeys, chimpanzee, coatis, camels, reptiles and amphibians, and a petting zoo. It was great. They have obviously worked hard to upgrade this zoo because it shows now as a clean and fun place to be. We would have paid a lot more if we had to for entry to this place.

We took our 17 month old little girl for the fist time yesterday and she loved it i can not wait untill every thing that they are working on is done because i know it will be even better

The front entrance is new and very nice looking. Parking is ample in the front of the building as well. The price is certainly well worth the visit. Seeing the chimp, Hank, up close and personal was the highlight of the day. This 40 year old chimp will come right up to you and kiss you through the glass. He appears like a wise old man with a story to tell. We could have spent hours visiting with Hank, but the zoo offers much more. After exploring all of the animal exhibits and the petting zoo area, we had refreshments in the concession area and shopped in the gift shop. We definately will be back to see Hank... and to visit the rest of the zoo, seeing the improvements they are making.

this place was an awesome adventure for my 2 kids and myself and husband...we had a blast and it didnt cost much at all i loved it and we will defiantely go back again soon!!!!

We enjoy the Warner Park Zoo. It is small but well laid out and you can see the animals really well. It is a good value as well.

When we lived in the Chattanooga metropolotin area (that's a joke) for two years, this was one of our favorite things to do!! We got a zoo membership which was extremely cheap and were not afraid to visit for an afternoon or morning. It was a great way to spend time with the kids (they were one and two at the time) and not worry about getting lost or running into people. For such a small city, this is a wonderful zoo with a wide assortment of animals. Sure, it doesn't have all the big "zoo animals" such as lions and tigers and bears, but it made up for this fact in the affordable price, absolutely friendly service by all their staff and wonderfully kid-friendly atmosphere. All in all, this is my favorite "small zoo" I've ever been to and with the prospect of visiting our friends next summer, we completely intend to go back and visit this remarkable place!!

My 2 1/2 year old loved Warner Park Zoo better than the Atlanta, Zoo. It wasn't too crowded and you can see the animals a lot more closely. I have a membership to the Atlanta Zoo but next year I will be adding a membership to the Warner Park Zoo as well!

We enjoy everything about the zoo. We have been over 50 times and plan to go 50 more.With such great prices you can make it a quick trip, or an all day event. No matter what I know my family will always enjoy our zoo.

The Chattanooga zoo is a small zoo that you can see in about 1 and 1/2 hours. We have five chimpanzees (our favorite is Hank), two jaguars, two mountain lines, two red pandas, two camels, tamarans, spider monkeys, kinkagoos, a heyena (Frankie) and several animals you might see in your back yard. Our kids love the zoo, there is normally a small crowd and the kids are not pushed. Stay as long as you like at one exhibit or wander into the petting zoo and feed the goats, pig or horse. There is a lot to say for a small town zoo and the keepers are incredible. Well worth the time and you do not spend any time in lines or break the bank.
