i liked it alot but my kids enjoyed it more than me

Took Your Trip In June Of This Year With My Daughter(42) Grandaughter(12) & Myself(62) And Each Of Us Had An Equally Great Time. This Was One Of The Favorite Things We Did. And We Did It All!!! The Captain Is What made It So Great ! I Only Wish I Could Remember His Name.He Came From Florida Back To Chattanooga And Had Blond Hair. Definately "Lets Do It Again"

Every time I visit my mother we find a "touristy" activity to do together. I highly recommend the Ducks. These vehicles aren't much to look at. In fact, they're rather ugly and intimidating. The drop into the river made me downright nervous. But the narrative as you drive through the streets of downtown Chatt and on the river are the best bit of history you can get in the area. By yourself a duck caller on the way out. My husband still uses his when he wants to make me smile.

Have seen the ducks for the 5years we've lived here but didn't ride until recently. The price is a bit steep for the hour-long tour, but the guide/driver/captain was quite entertaining and informative. I learned a lot about the city and the history, and our children loved the amphibious craft. All in all it was a great trip though I'll probably never do it again.

Highly recommend the tour. The day my son & I were there, there was one other family going on the tour - total of 5 of us. Was afraid they would cancel but took us. Was wonderful, our Guide was great. Thanks Ducks!

The Ducks are bar none the best tour of Chattanooga. We visited June 10-15. We did everything, Aquarium, Imax, Rock City, Ruby Falls, Incline, Horse/Carriage ride, Tow Truck Museum, Chatt Choo Choo and the Ducks. The price for 4 adults and 3 children was around $120.00. Upon entering the ticket area we were surprised to find a military museum featuring local men and women from WWII, Vietnam, and Iraq War. Lots of pictures and uniforms. We really enjoyed the stories from these men and women. The Duck ride did leave about 20 minutes later than advertised, that was the only "bad" part of the visit but it was quite busy. Captain Barry did apologize for the late start but from that moment on our group didn't want it to end. Mixed with interesting facts about the Duck, Chattanooga, the river, eateries, and other attractions Captain Barry used his personality and humor to captivate old and young alike. Our favorite part of the the tour is when he let all the children drive the boat and his interaction with the kids. After we got back, his next tour was waiting in the garage, he spent a few minutes with us answering questions and giving directions to some sites he recommended. I believe that he could have been our personal tour guide all over Chattanooga and it would have been the best vacation we've had in a while. The Ducks is highly recommended with Captain Barry. If you read these things Captain Barry, Dave, Linda, and little Captain Beeeeen thank you for the much needed laughs.

My family and I went to Chattanooga on Spring Break 07. Chattanooga is a great city for a quick 3 day little jaunt. Enough stuff to see and do to keep you busy. Our favorite "touristy" thing was the Chattanooga Ducks. A duck is a WW II amphibious truck, land and water. The gentleman who was selling tickets was worth some of the ticket price. He entertained some children their with a few card tricks and gave every his opinion, which we agreed with him 100%, on some restraunts. The ride is a bit stiff, it's not a luxury car, but Captain Thomas was just as entertaining as the guy selling tickets. Great views of the town from the river and everyone got a chance to drive the "boat". We would do it again.

The wife and I had a Wonderful time !! The Captain was very knowledgeable and very interesting / entertaining. I really recommend it for all ages . . Young and Old will have a Great Time !!

While waiting on our turn to ride, we walked around and looked at the historical things they have inside. The man who runs the place took the time to talk to us about the things we were looking at and about his family history. The ride on the Duck itself is part history and part pleasure, though its not the smoothest ride. The guide tells about things you see downtown and while in the river. It offers a nice view of the downtown attractions from the river, which is different. It is a bit pricy, but for the experience of seeing Chattanooga in an aquatice military vehicle, its worth it. Its something we already have on our list of things to do next time. Hats off to the staff!!

I recently spent a long weekend with my son and grandson in chattanooga. We planned our activities around my grandson but to be honest I think my son and I had the best time on the Chattanooga Duck, The staff was wonderful and the trip was very educational..I wish we had taken the ride first, the Captains are great anf it is a good value..Keep up the good work...also best seats are on the rear of the vehicle..
