Hamilton Skate Place, Chattanooga

I attended this establishment on a Saturday night in hopes of enjoying my night doing something I haven't done in years. I chose Hamilton Skate Place over a closer rink to my home due to the establishment seemed to be much nicer by viewing their web page. I was very wrong. When I entered the staff seemed mediocre but I have no complaints with them. As soon as I walked on to the floor I was surrounded by rude and out of control people. It is stated int he rules that horseplay or any form of skating that could be harmful or dangerous to other skaters would not be allowed, the management took no provisions to keep this from happening. I was constantly pushed, cut in front of and spent most of my time dodging either skaters not skating safely or not skating at all. Also the skate floor was littered with candy and debris that had caused a skater to fall while I was there. This is a poorly run establishment were the rules are not enforced and by no means a place for a family due to the language and suggestive behavior of other skaters and their music. Even a male employee who was skating in the rink was engaged in horseplay,reckless behavior, and giving a strip-tease to a table of older women behind me while i was trying to eat my dinner. I will never be back to Hamilton Skate Place and highly advise anyone else not to go in the first place.

I luv it there i have been going there for rs the staff is awesome!!! espically keith!!!! they have lots of races, games ect. they have good music and every wed. is Christian sk8 night!

This place gets hotter than a club... seriously. There's people dancin off to the side, hott guys, great skaters. Watch for the guy with short dark hair who normally dances in the middle of the floor WITH HIS SKATES ON. =) He goes there a lot. Can't wait to go back. If anyone goes on March 7th (next Friday), I'll be there. I'll be wearing a red and whtie hoodie, so feel free to check me out. ;p haha.

This place is horrible.It rots.Dont go there.If you really wanna skate drive to Nashville or Athens.You might also try Huntsville theere skate rinks is nice.This place has really bad music during the week.All the other reviews say good music..on saturday.Also this is a main spot for wierdo's, to hang out.But there is a police oficer..last time I went.

This place was smokin', well almost. It was hot as fire in there, hope they had insurance. The music was burinin' down the place, good thing the Procter weren't!

Compared to other cities rinks, this one is bad. They do not have floor guards. They don't support adult skate sessions or teen jam skate teams. The floor has no grip because they used a cheap sealant and haven't redone it in five years. During the week the music is for little kids. If you like to hear "Sponge Bob Square Pants" and have birthday parties it is O.K. If you are an adult and want to really skate drive to Nashville, Huntsville or Atlanta. If you are between 13-21 go to Athens, TN they support jam skaters there. If you don't know anything about skating this is an O.K. place. If your a sk8er pass on it.

This skating rink is really fun... I go every friday when I can! It may not have the best people there but there is a Police Officer so it evens things out. If yo0 like meeting new people and having fun and listening to music then come on! Shout at me!
