Lunch time cruise to the way to go!

My husband and I took the Lunch buffet cruise. It was only $38.00 for the two of us- that includes the lunch buffet and cruise tickets, gratuity and taxes. This was the 12:00 cruise. I did not like the fact that the tables were so close together, but with a lunch buffet, it does not take long for the meal to start and end. They let you begin eating as soon as you get on the boat while it's still docked. We had already finished our meal by the time we set sail and we were free to roam around the ship (all three decks) and enjoy the view! They do have tickets available without the lunch buffet, for the third deck and they do have an awning for you to sit under and a concession stand of sorts. Check with the hotel you may be staying at because some have special deals for these cruises, tickets as little as $2.00 a person( no lunch)! (we found that out from someone on our cruise). All in all, it was a great cruise and we would do it again. One special note is that it was very relaxed and laid back for the 12:00 cruise, but as we departed the ship, the 2:00 cruise (which meets in the gift store area) was packed. My advice would be to go on the earliest cruise you can. I would not even consider doing a dinner cruise where it would be even more crowded and cramped (tables are toooo close together to even consider it as ROMANTIC!).
