Southern Belle Riverboat, Chattanooga

Where do I begin ,as we walked into the gift shop it was decent but yet things were broke and stuff was scatted but it could use a change to be a lil more exciting, The man who took our ticket man he smelled no deoderent ewww, As we abord the boat it was nicely done,service was great as well as the food , the music was country,everyone was full of smiles cups were never empty, an there was plenty of room an it wasnt elbow to elbow like most people said,. the view was great ,we had a window seat for 2 an it was as if we were the only ones there cause it was the only thing that mattered .Oh by the way the pic wasf if we had it for ages, ithink they need an up grade ...We had a kid free day and was wonderful upon the Southern belle riverboat....

This company has poor customer service. I tried to use a coupon and they were booked so I had to try another day. Unfortunately, I could only go in the evening. They were unwilling to work with me at all. I offered to pay the difference ($2) and asked if they would be willing to extend the expiration even by a couple weeks. The answer was simply sorry. So much for customer service. You never know who will recommend your company when you provide treatment above and beyond. I know it will be unlikely that I will recommend this company before any of the other river cruises - who have actually been great.

We went on this riverboat for my birthday, 6-4-2011, the whole thing SUCKED, hotter than crap on top, no fan or anything for sunset cruise, the beer was outragious and was warm, they ran out of water,,they stuck us up there like u were a 3 rd class person, it was hot , we left 18 min later , the river stunk, dead fish floating everywhere, for 54 dollars u would expect SOMETHING, the music was corny and u felt like u were on a lawrence welk show, This will go down as a joke and tourist trap in my book.

My husband and I went on the Southernbell for Valentines Day. The crew was GREAT!!! But, the food was terriable and the music. There was nothing to dance too (how romantic). We will never be back!!!

We have visited the Southern Belle on different occassions. The first was last year for the early am fall cruise which included a small buffet breakfast. This was very enjoyable and relaxing -- highly recommended. Our next visit was this past Labor Day Dinner Cruise - do not waste your time. OVERLY CROWDED -- the food was less than desirable -- just way too many people to have any enjoyment at all. Take the other cruise and you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I did the dinner cruise for our anniversary, we wanted it to be a nice romantic experience and it was anything but. First of all getting on to the boat required standing in two very long lines, then we were seated at a table for 4 with another couple. the couple was nice but the last thing I wanted to do on our anniversary dinner is try to make small talk with complete strangers. then we had to wait about an hour to get called to get our food which was a buffet and not that great. when we finally got finished eating and went out to the deck we only had about 45 min. to enjoy the views which were not that great either; there were big barges filled with scrap metal etc. The entertainment wasn't great either it seemed like every 20 min. they were singing the birthday song to someone again. Was not happy with the experience at all, was not worth the money.

My husband and I went on the cruise for his birthday. I thought the price was very reasonable for a cruise and a meal. The service was good, the food was good (don't know why people say the meat is tough, it wasn't on our cruise). The entertainment was good too. Thoroughly enjoyed this dinner cruise on the river. Would recommend to anyone.

My husband and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary this past weekend on the Southern Belle dinner cruise and were very pleased with the cruise. Everything was great from the seating, the food, the servers, and especially the band. They made it very fun, personable, and enjoyable and we will DEFINITELY return again!!!

This was the worst thing I have ever paid to do. I thought my husband and I could celebrate our 10 year anniversary doing something different and memoriable. The cruise lasted about an hour and half and the best part of it was when it was over. The most exciting thing we saw was some ducks. They pointed out some different things, a steel factor, training grounds for the local police, people's houses and docks and some bridges. Wow, I will never forget this anniversary. I can say that was when we wasted our money on that "Riverboat Cruise" and saw those ducks.

Our kids had a great time on the cruise, buffet of lunch meats was wonderful!!! Can't wait to go again-See you on the Santa cruise
