Wonderful restaurant. I don't eat seafood but their pimento cheese burger is awesome. Others I have eaten with really enjoy their seafood. Sweet potato fries and fried green tomatoes are excellent too.
We stayed in Charleston; I can't believe I wasted an hour trip up to this place! Yes, it was good, not bad, but certainly not worth the drive to such an out-of-the-way place as McClellanville. Wasn't even anything of interest in the town.
Shrimp, oysters, and fish were just average. The place did have charm, though. A small, old block building with lots of neat decor.
If I were staying in the same town, I'd go back (not sure how I could...), but it's not worth the drive.
This is my favorite place.I live about 30 miles north of it, in an area known for it fabulous restaurants, but I rarely go to any of them anymore because of TW Grahams.I KNOW at TW's that if I order grouper, I get grouper, the shrimp is off the local docks, not from China, and the flounder is, well, flounder. The coconut pie is yummy. The shrimp & crab chowder is divine. The hushpuppies are great. My favorite is the Island Fling or is it the fried green tomato & shrimp salad? This place is lowkey and I LOVE it!!
