15% gratuity or tip is only if the service is good. I truly do not understand why they included it in the bill on larger parties. I guess we have to pay for the food and the bad service. What a horrible mess.
I was looking on this website for a good place to go eat and from the comments I read from all of you it is definately not the place for me. I will take my girlfriend to some other restaurant maybe the Jalapeno. Thank you all for your comments on what a horrible place the Martinez Restaurant is.
The food is way overpriced and you only get a small portion. They charge you $8.95 for (2) Tacos Beans/Rice. The food/chips taste way better at Taco Bueno. Its pretty obvious the food is no good, when you walk in there are only about 4-5 tables being used.
This is Tex-Mex flavor food, they cut corners. There is REAL mexican food in Mesquite at Dos Panchas.
The best Mexican food in the area. They make the tortillas in front of you and they taste so awesome. I rented the ball room for my bridal party and it was not bad in price either. their fajitas are so very good. their lunch menu and regular Dinner menu gives you alot of food while the price is rather low.
Since they started as a small hole in the wall on the strip of Gross Rd.till moving up the street to a exceptionally larger estabishment, There food and service has always been top notch. Keep up the good work !!!
Man,I love coming to Martinez'.It is not very far from my house and the Mexican food there is delicious, although I had the chicken-fried steak when I went there Monday night.Still delicious though.
What I like about Martinez is that the food is prepared by smart Mexicanos and not the ones at Pancho's,who tend to feed you food that can clog you up forever.
Not at Martinez, though. They make very good food here and serve plenty of it too.I was the only one who finished his entire plate and this is after eating a whole bowl of chips before the main entree.
The prices are about the same here as they are at any other Mexican restaurant,so no biggie there.
The atmosphere is lively with the playing of traditional Mexican music and the fine decorations inside of the restaurant.
I would recommend Martinez' for anyone coming to Mesquite or even if you already live here.
