We went to Cedars for a friend's birthday partly. The service was very slow and the the entire party waited more than 40 minutes to get our checks. When asked for an explanation for the wait, we were told that the staff was unable to determine which check went to each party, but that they were working on it. The management was rude when attempting to resolve the matter. We will never patronize the establishment again.
The Buffet is very overpriced the food is not consistently hot or consistently good. If I were judging the Buffet alone, I would give this just 1 star.
Cedars Cafe is good and depending on what you get it could be a very good value. The club sandwich at the Cedars Cafe is one of the best ones around. The Prime Rib with New potatoes was delicious but a little more on the pricey side. I would recommend going here over the buffet.
My husband and I love this place! I wish they had a night club and $3 blackjack tables that would make it more enjoyable! They are currently building a hotel and I’m sure that will be lovely! This place is quite pricey but, well worth it. Bring your camera so you can take a picture of the giant whale in the parking lot, it will preserve your memory and experience at the casino.
I like the gift shop also, it’s not to expensive and you can add to your mementos. We have eaten at the café there and have not had the opportunity to check out the buffet. The lines are long but again, I’m sure it's worth it.
We shall return!
Richard and I go there to eat every 2 or 3 weeks. The food is always hot, fresh, and tasty. Nice selection of Chinese, Mexican, and good ole American comfort food. 2 salad bars, and a HUGE dessert bar. My favorite dessert? Chocolate Cheesecake...it's delectable! Come hungry, you'll want to get your $10 worth. Downside: very little change in menu from day to day. You always know what will be available. Maybe that's a good thing. ; )
For anyone who just doesn't make breakfast or lunch on Sundays this is the best place to go and the price is excellant. You can have all the breakfast fixings you want plus for lunch they have oriental food, prime rib, and other various cuisines. The best part is the desert counter. You can have from chocolate covered strawberries to icecream and cake they have it all. I recommend this to any one who enjoys a great deal with excellant food.
