I see other reviews at 5 stars and I think they have to be kidding. We ate at the Ft. Apache location a few years ago and it had to be the worst sushi I have ever had. The Uni was far from fresh. My Wife had raw oysters and bad things in oysters can be covered up with hot sauce. These were almost too hot to eat. Enough about the Ft. Apache location. We had lunch today at their new location at South Rainbow. We ate their before I recognized the name. I can't say they have improved much. The Garlic Tuna was tough. I could not bite it in half and had to eat it in one bite. The Yellowtail was below average. Nothing wrong with it, just not great. The same could be said for the Tempura Roll. With all of the better sushi restaurants nearby we won't be back.
Nagoya has the hands-down best customer service I have ever received. As soon as i entered the restaurant, my family and i were greeted and seated promptly. The overall restaurant atmosphere was very warming with all of the authentic japanese niches everywhere. The bar chefs and all of the waitresses seemed to have a perma-smile on their faces, making us leave the restaurant with a smile of our own. Now, i was a huge fan of the unlimited sushi places that have been popping up in vegas but the sushi just didnt compare. The food was excellent (i had the udon and a house roll) and our family just had an overall excellent time there.
i recommend Nagoya for any lunch and dinner and I will definitely be visiting often.
Nagoya seems like a standard run of the mill sushi restaurant. However, once you sit at either the bar or the restaurant, you will see how different it is. The service is so far above the norm it is awe-inspiring. From the second you sit down until you leave, the service never ends. We recently had our son’s birthday party there, and literally ate for over three hours. We ordered soup, and salad, and sushi and an entrée and then desert and if I had known that the food would just keep coming and coming I would have stopped at the soup. There were various fantastic Apéritif’s and Amuse Bouche, plates of wonderful chicken soup, sushi, more sushi, noodles, more sushi, more different noodles, with the most fantastic, friendly service you’ve every experienced. The price is nothing compared to what you would experience in a comparable five-star restaurant, and you’ll be back for more and more.
