This popular restaurant brings the taste of New Orleans to the historic Cherry Street district of Tulsa. A dark brick interior, white formal linens and live music on the weekends make this a great spot for a date or an evening on the town, whether formal or casual. Cajun-style steaks, seafood and pasta are the main fare here, including Blackened Snapper and Crawfish Fettucini Alfredeaux. The fried alligator is a popular appetizer. Full wine and bar service is available. Also located at 81st and Lewis in south Tulsa.

Not So Fond New Orleans Native
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/13/07
Well, I went with a larger party for a Birthday and while I had amazing server, the management and it's accomodations left much to be desired. The food was definitely not authentic for instance: there was "Seafood Gumbo" and "Shrimp Gumbo" (the difference being tiny lumps of meat intending to be crab) that tasted nothing like any gumbo I'd ever had. The management was rude to say the least. The atmosphere was very nice though, a shame the food didnt live up to the aesthetics of the establishment. I would not reccommend this restaraunt to any cajun/creole food enthusiast ;-)

Different and Wonderful!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/22/05
We went to this place seeking something a little different and it was perfect! They had a large variety of beers and martinis but I had a delicious bannana daiquiri and my husband a wonderful mixed drink of some kind. Everything from the appetizer through the main course, down to the desert I had to take to go was absolutely perfect in presentation and taste. We went to the one on Lewis and I would love to even recommend out waiter but I can't remember his name. Excellent food and wonderful atmosphere!

Bourbon Street Cafe - Tulsa, OK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/15/04
Great atmosphere and attentive wait staff. Food quality and selection are great. Happy hour 1/2 price on the oysters and shrimp are a real deal. The background music is very urban and the live music on Fridays by local Tulsa groups are always a hit.

One is always made to feel welcome and special while there for drinks or dining and the owners take a very personal approach with their guests. Being from New York City originally, the Bourbon Street Cafe is a welcome addition to the Tulsa restaurant scene and I would highly recommend it to all seafood lovers.
