Famous Dave's BBQ, Las Vegas

Grew up in South Carolina and lived in Texas a few years and have eaten my share of BBQ ! I really like it here. The ribs are my second favorite in town ( Big Dogs on West Sahara are a little better ) but the service and atmosphere and selection is great. The beans with the hot sausage pieces is fantastic ! I could eat a bowl. The pulled pork is not dry and has great flavor. The BBQ chicken wings are good and messy too. I haven't had the brisket yet buy will try later. A lot of people in town say Memphis BBQ is the best , but I ate there and it was disgusting and way to salty. I have eaten at almost every BBQ place in town and have lived here since 1991 and this is my favorite.

Famous Dave has a good menu and good BBQ but not the best. I have been there numberous times but it isn't true smoked. Buzz BBQ on Craig is smoked, you can smell it being smoked out front. But it doesn't have the menu Dave's does and not as big of portions. Memphis BBQ isn't bad either..

Not a bbq fan but this is GOOD! Will definitely be back!

There was a lot of hype from my family and friends to try Famous Dave's...I was let down. The meat was tough and dry. We got the sampler plate to try a little of everything, and everything was mediocre. I'm still waiting for somebody to do BBQ right in Las Vegas.

We went to Famous Dave's for Father's Day. I must say we had a wonderfl time. The resturant was very clean the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. We had the meal on the trash can lid, and it was too much food for the four of us. The place was great and the food was amazing. The price was reasonable for the for of us $92.00. I would go back here again and take some new people as well.

The best barbecue I have found in Las Vegas, hands down. Tasty meat and five distincitvely different sauces. I can't imagine anyone not finding one they like (unlike Salt Lick Barbecue, from Texas, who has one bland, runny sauce and that's it). The portions are generous and the servers very attentive.

I grew up down south in Texas, where BBQ is a way of life. Sorry, but I found their BBQ to be AWFUL. I ordered a sampler plate, so I could try a bit of everything they had. I was disappointed all the way around. The meats were dry, the flavor was completely lacking, and the sauce wasn't good either. Side dishes were not good either. I can do WAY better than this on my own grill in the backyard.

My husband and my boys LOVE this restaurant ! My husband always orders the brisket and has never been disappointed. My boys usually get the rib tips or BBQ chicken and we ALWAYS have leftovers. The side dishes are great (you HAVE to try the drunken apples !!) and the portions are MORE than enough. The menu has a wide variety with plenty of healthy choices for those watching their diets. The service has always been excellent and we have never waited an unreasonable amount of time for a table. We have taken many out of town guests to this restaurant and they really enjoyed it. Even their margaritas are good !! It is a very casual atmosphere and kid friendly. This restuarant is highly recommended.
