Los Potrillos is an authentic Mexican restaurant in Santa Fe that won the Best of Santa Fe Award 2007. It's a feeding ground for the locals, and the decor is unique with its wooden tables, chairs, hand-carved sculptures, murals, cacti and curtains that complete the authentic western atmosphere. The menu boasts chips and salsa, steaks, and seafood. Try the shrimp cocktail and rellenos. The Pechunga en Salsa, chicken breasts covered in pineapple sauce, the Cabrito, goat meat marinated and sauteed in peanut and almond sauce, and the Pork and Pineapple, grilled with onions and served with hot molcajete, are all delectable. The culinary skills of the chefs at Los Potrillos keep guests happy indeed!
Wonderful place to eat and relax! A little out of the downtown but easy to get to and PLENTY OF PARKING! Everything we had was excellent. The lamb soup was new for us and wonderful. The margarita was strong but tasty. The ceviche was exceptional. You must try it.
We highly recommend this restaurant. Clean, well taken care of. Thoughtful and fast service but still very peaceful. They do not hurry you. They take care of you.
This was great casual family restaurante. This was great full service restaurant. Prices were Olive Garden price range. Atmosphere was rustic western, clean, and friendly. Average wait time for your meal.
The food was excellently prepared and tastey. If your palate is for mild flavor, make sure you ask for no hot peppers.Generous serving size. Great marguaritas! Will eat there again. You also carry out.
