a terrific little spot on broadway that offers high-quality food (better than ted's) at lower (than ted's) prices. the salsa was fresh with a nice bite. tortilla chips crunchy and fresh. the caldo soup was homemade. the three tostadas with shrimp was delicious. the cheese enchiladas dinner was also a good choice. cold beer/margaritas also available. dessert was the traditional homemade sopapilla. a highlight of the evening was live music performed by a strolling guiturist. give this family-owned restaurant a try and avoid the lines at the more popular places around town.
This small family owned restaurant makes me feel like I've walked into a Mexican family dinning room. The smiles, the food, and the value are all in abundance. The food is authentic, fresh and flavorful. I frequently return for lunch with family and friends.
