Binkley's a place too far

Had dinner at Binkley's this weekend. First, this is a tiny, tiny place. If you want any kind of ambiance forget it. Also this is Cave Creek, way out. The food was fine, service was good, a bit too intrusive, with amuses (free Chef bits) offered and interrupted our conversations repeatedly. Also they want to turn tables in this tiny place so they rush all the food, you feel rushed, not pleasant. Finally I ordered a filet mignon, and I received a mushy, mushy cut, it was cooked properly temperature wise but had been marinated? There is no excuse when someone is charging 38 bucks for a small steak in a strip mall setting in the smallest restaurant in the world for going cheap on meat qualitly. Oh well. Also the desserts were pathetic. Overall, overpriced, no privacy, too loud, too many bodies and food good but not exceptional. Hey also, give up the bread delivery, its ridiculous when you have this many bodies in a limited area. Again are you afraid someone will waste the bread, cheap, cheap cheap. Won't return. They are way too greedy in trying to turn tables three times a night. You won't get repeat customers like this!!!
