The waiters are very polite and helpful. The food is excellent and the desserts are amazing. Plus they give you an entree for free on your birthday. This is a good place to eat if you are staying in the area or if you live here.
Worst Italian food I have ever had. Veal Parmigiana was way overcooked to the point of being burnt tasting. Seafood cannelloni had very little seafood, maybe a lttle crabmeat and a ton of cheese. Have had better Italian frozen dinners. What a total letdown... had heard for a long time how great this place was. If guess if you have never been out of the South, you would think it was fine. :( The service and atmosphere was great, but what good is this if the food is inedible?
I may have just ordered the wrong thing (sausage and peppers). It was pretty much tasteless and served over some very soggy overcooked linguine. The salad was very good however, as was the warm bread. My fellow diners seemed to really enjoy their entres, but they ordered the daily special. Probably a good idea to stick with the special if you go to Provinos.
Good Italian restaurant with nice atmosphere and great portions for the price. Everything prepared well, despite some special requests on selections. Dinner comes with all you can eat house salad served family style, including little garlic rolls. Good service, our waiter was knowledgeable and professional, but the food runner was a bit short with us and not very friendly. The desserts are friend ordered was plain and not memorable.
traditional italian restaurant, generous portions, everything prepared to perfection. i'm not a salad eater usually but their house and other salads are a favorite part of the meal for me. i wish they would give you garlic bread though instead of garlic rolls, but i love that they are so generous with the garlic sauce for the rolls. service is always decent, waiters know to do their thing and stay out of your way. desserts could be better but aren't bad. overall: you'll get a great bang for your buck here.
I love Italian food and in this area...there is no better place to dine. From the Antispasta and Calamari di Fritto to Lasagna Partenope and Cannelloni Genovese it can't get much better unless you go to Italy. Great desserts and wine as well. Pricing is very reasonable. Excellent place for a romantic dinner or for the whole family.
