Hong Kong Kitchen, Casa Grande

The food is great the service is excellent.. A big improvement from Big Wa.. We live in CG yet shop and eat out in Phx, yet when we do want something close to home we go to Hong Kong

We tried this restaurant, to compare it with BIG WAH which is just down the street. It does not evem compare. I ordered Garlic Chicken.They made it with a sweet sauce YUCK and breaded and fried the chicken. I had ordered this in China Town in Chicago and this was not made correctly. They do not bread and fry the chicken and the sauce is NOT SWEET they also add celery and some chinese veggies. The portions are large, but if you do not like the food, it does not matter. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The prices are also higher than expected - they charge for the tea, where Big Wah does not. Try the Mongolian Beef at the Big Wah - you will love it.

I eat here at least twice a month. They never disappoint. The food is fresh, the portions are huge and the staff is always friendly. Don't let the outside of the building drive you away. Once inside, you will be glad you ate there. It is the best!!!!

Big portion sizes, good food, good prices. Will be back.

awsome food with massive serings, great service the will explain things to you if you don't understand the menue. this IS the best chinese food in AZ.

This place rocks. Its one of the best chinese restaurants I've been to. I love love love it! The location looks a little scary but its delicious. It's cheap and the portions are easily enough to share with your date. :) I love it, my kids do to. Order the orange chicken. Its my new fav.

The food here is average, but the portions are great for the price, at least at lunch. The downside was the service. The waiter was not friendly at all - too close to his shift ending, I guess. The waitress brought me pink lemonade(?) when I had ordered hot tea. After waiting a while, I asked my son when they served the soup. He said that his usually came with the meal! The waiter served the meals and I assumed that he was going back for the soup. No such luck - we never saw the pair again. No one came to check on us at all - the next time we saw anyone out front was when a different guy brought us our bill. By then we had finished eating. The food here is not worth the aggravation of trying to get your order.

Me and my coworkers ate here for a long time untill we started to get sick from the shrimp . Tonite I took my mom there for her birthday and she got the mango shrimp I ate about three and the last one smelled like a dead dog or cat and the taste was so bad I cant explain it ! But I know after that I will never eat there again!!!!!!!! The red head waiter that has been there for ever went to tell the cook and you could hear the cook yell and they made me pay for the meal.

Can't figure, another chinese buffet restaurant in Casa Grande got a higher rating than the Hong Kong Kitchen. This is impossible because the Hong Kong Kitchen is probably one of the best chinese restaurants in the State of Arizona. Don't let it's location fool you. This is a diamond in the rough!

Kind of a well-kept secret but it really deserves to be known. Personally, I think there are very few enjoyable restaurnats in Casa Grande but this one is definiely at the top. Excellent food, great portions (they must go thru a ton of to-go containers for leftovers) and the prices are very affordable especially for lunch. Try the lunch specials - excellent value, many choices too.
