It's an okay place. Must not have much overhead, they don't have many customers. Which is a good thing. Better service. I personally don't like all the nick nacks and dust collectors all over the store.
Best Coffee in Grand Haven; it's always good. The coffee is on par with Starbucks or Biggby's (or better, IMHO), but cheaper. I get a pound of beans for $10 every week or so and the beans are fresh.
Mary is a GH treasure who donates time and a lot of her profits to local and international causes.
It is cramped and has limited seating (especially in the cold weather - there's a deck for the better weather), but I have to disagree with the previous review that called it expensive. I get a 20oz latte for $3 and it is easily the best around! The staff is always friendly and it is definitely worth checking out. They sell all kinds of interesting items, from blues calenders to candles.
Fat Chix Coffee Cantina is the perfect place. I went there several times this summer, enjoying the intimate setting and comfort I got from being there. Mary, the owner, was kind and genuinely cared for her customers. You could definetly tell that this was the business she was happy in and loved. She treated every person who came in like family. Overall it is a wonderful place to sit down, have a cup of coffee, tea or possibly a smoothie, and take time out of your hectic lives to relax. I recommend this place to anyone.
