Barnhills Buffet, New Port Richey

To whom it may concern I was at the Barnhill's in New Port Richey wene they reopened, and its still terriable so I figured they just reopened ,and it will get batter. Me and my family went back and its still terriable the food was the same nothing tasted good and warm food was not at the temparture it needs to be. Just a bad experince once again

Stay away from this restaurant until they change management! No, we are not former employees and have no axe to grind. We found much of the items to be dried out, without flavor, and cheap. I have to admit some anger at the price they charge--$10.99. I feel that I have been ripped off. Maybe this is why they have the sign on the register to see what they have on the buffet first because there are no refunds after you pay!!! Watch the fried chicken--ours had blood inside! We will NOT be returning to this restaurant again. We hope their employees are looking for another job, because without a BIG change, they will not be in business long. UPDATE--Golden Coral is now open. Tried it today and it is wonderful. FORGET BARNHILLS!!!!!!!!

The food is very good, fresh and of excellent quality. The new managment has improved one hundred percent the restaurant. I visit regularly. I think that these low and harmful comments about this restaurant comes from people who steal food, and have gotten caught, or from former employees who have been fired. Perhaps it comes from people who want to eat free and complain about anything. I enjoyed the dinning experience, company and ambiance. I recommend you visit this place and draw your own conclusions.

Used to be great, but last night the food was horrible, fried chicken took almost 45 min to be refilled, and when it was it was legs & wings and was pink on the inside. all the food had a very old/cheap quality too it. maybe it's the economy, but they have gone downhill to the point that we will never go back. $27 for 2 people, kinda steep for what they have to offer. don't waste your time or money...Oh...the bathrooms were unbelievably filthy!

We have went here a few times now and the food and service gets worse with every visit. The last visit we made on Valentine's Day and they were completely out of half the food on the buffet. The food that was out was HORRIBLE!!! We spent $45 for four people and was a complete waste of money!!

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL AND THE WAITERS AND WAITRESS THERE ARE EXTREMELY RUDE. THERE MAY BE ONE OR TWO THAT ARE NICE AND WELCOME YOU WITH NO PROBLEMS, BUT THE REST NEED TO GO TAKE CLASSES ON HOW TO ADDRESS THE CUSTOMERS AND HOW TO BEHAVE IN A PLACE OF BUSINESS!!!! YOU WOULD THINK THEY WERE TAUGHT THIS AT HOME, BUT I GUESS THEY DID NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THEIR PARENTS AND IT SHOWS. THESE ARE THE REASONS WHY BUSINESSES LOSE CUSTOMERS........

we think this was the best thing, now no cat fish and the blackberry cobbler looks like muss they throw it all together. we have stopped going here because the food isn't as good as it once was. I think this is why they filed bankruptsy

We have been to the Barnhill's on State Road 54 in New Port Richey several times. My husband and I are raising two young grandchildren. They are 2 and 3 years of age. We have 7 grandchildren all together. We have gone a couple of times with several of the grandchildren and we have been told point blank on more than one occassion by at least 2 different male waiters, not to sit in their area. I have complained to the manager and he did nothing. There are some female waiters that are always happy to see us but we do not like the idea of being asked to move after we have sat down, and being told that there is no room for us in a certain section. The children are always well behaved and never leave the table. We clean the floor if they drop anything and we always leave at least a $15.00 tip because we know it is harder to clean up after 2 toddlers. I do it all the time. We only eat there if the waitress is there that always smiles at us and tell we are welcome in her section. I really wish I could remember her name but it has slipped my mind at the moment.

Great value. Great baked items. Good choices. Watch out waistline!
