Carlo and his staff are amazing! We have never been disappointed by the service or the amazing authentic Italian Food that is served in his quaint restaurant. If you are looking for a dining experience-this is the place to go!
Finally a wonderful restaurant in NE Colorado! The food, the service, the ambiance, all are more than 5 Stars! I am Italian and from the East coast -so I am hard to please with Italian food - but O'Sole Mio is an answer to a dining prayer! We are going back next week for lunch to try the Pizza -I know we won't be disappointed. Bravo!
Anytime we want a terrific Italian meal with the ambience of a small family-run restaurant in Italy, we come to O Sole Mio. We held my husband's 50th birthday party there, and have been there several times with friends and family. Carlo (the owner and chef) pays a lot of attention to the meals to make sure they are delicious, and we have never been hurried out the door to make room for more customers. We are treated as friends. O Sole Mio is simply a wonderful restaurant!
We've recently moved to Sterling, from Denver, and have been missing the great Italian restraunts we used to frequent in Denver. We attended a private party at O Sole Mio, and had an excellent time. The atmosphere and ambiance is very romantic and traditional, which we very much enjoyed. The food was wonderful! We had penne pasta and prime rib, both excellent! My only complaint would be the lack of salad dressing, as reported in an earlier review. Your only choice for dressing is oil and vinegar. Would like to see at least ranch or blue cheese. Other than that, we had a fantastic time. The wine list is good too, better than most local restraunts out here in NE Colo. We will definetly go back!
We've been to O' Sole Mio twice in the past few weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The service is outstanding and the owner takes a real personal interest in visiting with his guests.
We drive 80 miles (each way) to get there and we think it is well worth it. I would highly recommend it.
If you want REAL.. authentic.. Italian food this is THE place to go. Its kind of set back off of main, but it is the gem of the town. The ambiance.. when you walk in makes you feel like you are IN italy. Its inviting, relaxed, and gives you that italian 'feel' at least what I would think it to be. The menu is small but out of this world.. this stuff is the real deal.. and for the amount of food you get, its pretty cheap. So, if you want italian thats not 'americanized' come here. You wont regret it!
