Captain J's Ocean Front Restaurant, Cocoa Beach

I agree with the other three comments. We asked where GR was and said we should have went to LJS too. We were there last week. The restaurant was so hot, we were sweating. They messed up my husbands drink order (how hard is it to make a margarita with no salt). We didn't even get bread, until we noticed someone else had it and then we asked for it. It took 45 minutes to get our food and we had to flag the waitress down for drink refills. Another couple walked out before they got their food. One man stopped my husband and asked if he was the manager, b/c they had a complaint. It was way too expensive for the quality of food and the service we received. If the service and food had been remotely good, it would have been worth the $80 for 4 people, but for us it was two thumbs down.

Go to the upper deck Bar. Kelly is the Best! The food and table service are very hit or miss (Someone call Gordon Ramsey!!!) The fried grouper sandwich is the best you will ever eat. Everything else is a roll of the dice. The service and food crashes and burns when they get busy on weekends and holidays.

What a waste of good earned $$.... unless you come for a drink and enjoy the view dont waste your time. The waitress had an EXTREME ATTITUDE and hated her job.... The mixed drink and the loaf of bread was the only thing that I could say was any good.......I ordered the crab cake meal and would rather drove the 1/2 mile and went to long john silvers and speant 1/4 less money and got better food.......
