Mimi's Cafe, Orlando

I was unhappy with my visit to the orlando Mimi's Service was slow and when I got my pasta plate the pasta was cold, had to wait awhile before the server came back around for him to order me another one. Also my pasta as well as my friend pasta tasted like it had a bottle full of oil on it, took away from the spices and cheeses they were using to enhance the flavor. My house salad would of been good, but it too had a bottle of ranch on it, (for got to ask for it on the side) by the time the meal was done it had been almost 1 1/2 hours so we had to ask for a dessert which came with the meal to go.. I have been to the Mimi's in Altamonte, the food I had that day was good, but maybe the quality is just not there like it has been in past years.

Came upon the place by chance - we are visiting from NY and while driving along 436 looking for a place to eat around 9:00pm, their sign caught our attention so we stopped. Beautiful place, friendly, pleasant, efficient waitress. Wonderful banana nut and spice bread before dinner was so moist & delicious. Plus, the waitress brought another basket when I mentioned how good it is. The sweet and sour coconut shrimp appetizer was delicious, salads fresh with a nice mix of greens, blue cheese dressing tasted homemade and was very good. My daughter's BBQ salmon was highly praised. WIsh we had a Mimi's Cafe in my neighborh :)

With prices comparable to Chili's and Fridays, but portions greater than both put together, and staff that is too much fun, this place is the bomb! Never disatisfied when I spend my money here! Definately one of Orlando's best treasures!

Let's start with the decoration is fabulous!, then costumer services, they're the best, they make u feel special, food and prices are very fair, and couln't have better location. I l o v e it.

You just gotta go there. The carrot/raisin bread is so delicious that you have to try it for yourself to see what the big deal is.

I've been to Mimi's maybe a dozen times and can say that I haven't had anything there I didn't like! They provide coffee and breakfast pastries for your wait in the morning. At lunch/dinner you get a basket of melt in your mouth breads from their bakery. The carrot rasin bread is to die for! If they find out it's your first time there they bring you a too go box with 4 large homemade muffins from the bakery! The atmosphere is fantastic, I wouldn't have guessed that it would be so charming! The tables have live cut orchids on them. The best part is the value you get for you money! Kid friendly also! They have things on the menu that cater to low fat and low carb dieters. HUGE menu! May I recommend the Tuscan Chicken. Go try it out, you will be glad you did!

This is the best chain restaurant I've ever been to. The salads are amazing. The comfort food is amazing. The corn chowder and muffins/carrot bread are to die for. We had really good service the first time we were there, and the general manager is very helpful. I would eat here all the time if it was closer, because it seems like you can't go wrong with anything on the menue!

THIS PLACE IS GREAT FOR THE FAMILY, KIDS, OR TO TAKE SOMEONE OUT THAT YOU REALLY WANT TO IMPRESS IN A COOL AND CAJUN WAY. THE MENU IS VERY WELL THOUGHT OUT AND THE DESSERTS ARE TO DIE FOR. PRICES ARE AFFORDABLE AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS JAZZY AND LIGHT. IT IS THE PERFECT DAY OUT, AND SINCE THE MILLENIUM MALL IS RIGHT NEXT DOOR, WHAT YOU SAVE AT MIMI'S YOU CAN USE TO SHOP.
