my husband and i have been going to mori for over a year now and they have never disappointed us. we always sit and order at the sushi bar. compared to the other sushi restaraunts that we've been to (mikato and sake house) mori has the freshest and yummiest sushi ever. we're from california so we go to moris to get the closest sushi we can get compared to back at home.
Don’t go for Japanese food. The hibachi may be good but for real Japanese food don’t bother. The server did not have a clue and the hot sake was served in a “Waffle House” style coffee pot. I am not sure if they were serving sake or blueberry syrup.
I should have known something was wrong when we had to stop the hostess from tech messaging session so she could seat us.
I lived in Tallahassee during college and was introduced to mori on a date. OMG!!! There is nowhere better. I now live an hour away, but everytime i go to mori, i stop in, even if is to take out. Try the Volcano Roll..
I had a party of 5 with me, I will not go back. Very uneasy feeling. The manager could not tell me if the tea was freshly brewed. Then I learned it was not brewed at all, I asked to change to a coke and got an attitude. I had my son and his girlfriend with us who are 16 and they both ordered sushi and it took forever to get to our table. I will not be returning.
I took my family in last night with our 5 year old daughter and they didn't even do a show for us at all. My friends that were with us were on a seperate check and when we asked them to seperate the bill they all of a sudden got an attitude. The food was okay, but not all it's hyped up to be. The filet sucks. I will go to Longhorn's or Mikato's from here on.
SERVICE SUCKED!!! The food was okay, not great. Manager stood next to our table for the begining of the meal, talking to another server in a different language and then giving dirty looks to my friend and I like we had done something wrong. I asked for a to go box and didn't get it until the busser was coming around to take the plates. Took forever to get our check and the guy couldn't refill drinks to save his life. I will go to Mikato's or Kobe from now on.
This place will never get my money again, my meal was $100 for my girlfriend, me and a friend of ours, I always tip 20% because i'm a previous server, the sushi took too long to get to me, the manager came over like she had a problem when I changed my order, The server took forever to refill our drinks and I had to wait 5 minutes after my food was done for chopsticks. Go to Mikato's instead.
THIS RESTAURANT HAS ALWAYS HAD GREAT FOOD, I'M ASHAMED TO SAY THAT WHEN IT WENT UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AGO, I QUIT WORKING THERE DUE TO HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I WAS A SERVER, I HAD TO WORK JUST ABOUT ALL HOLIDAYS, AND THEY HAD NO CONSIDERATION FOR FAMILY TIME.
Mori Japanese Steak House serves a variety of different types of japanese food ranging from the hibachi grill to sushi and other tradtional style dishes. When i went to Mori they made me feel asian. Mori has given me chills and they multiplying.
Mori Japanese Steakhouse is by far the best in Panama City. If you are hungry and in the mood for a great atmosphere and food than Mori should be your choice. The hostess there greeted my family with kindness and respect right when we entered the doors. We were seated right away and our waitor was very courtious. We came to Mori starving and had to ask for to-go boxes. If you love Japanese food than Mori should be your choice in Panama City!!!!!
