Okeeheelee Park, West Palm Beach

It was my 1st time at the park today and it was beautiful. I loved the set up and most of the people were nice but... after 30mins of playing there was this guy with 2 large german shepards who wouldn't control his dogs both of the dogs attacked both of my dogs and he did nothing to stop them. I have 2 large breed dogs that are very friendly and it was rediculous. Seriously people control your animals. Hopefully we can go back one day with a safe envirnment.

we love this park, especially the Boat Rental Place, we kayaked all over the lake, while the teenagers rented the pedal boats. Prices were very inexpensive, they are open every weekend all year around plus in the summer, we will be going back quite often to this family friendly park and the kayaking. Plus the park is free, we recommend it to everyone

I love Okeeheelee. I come here all the time with my 2 year old daughter to run around the open fields, feed the ducks and go on the many playgrounds they have. I even had my wedding reception there. It is a beautiful atmosphere. Our favorite place to go is in the back with a huge hill (next to the dog park) and set up a blanket and have a pinic with my husband and daughter. Definitely a nice place to come for free and have fun or just to relax.

I don't like the fact that it does not (offer)have an enclosed place to host private parties, reunions etc.and its alot more expensibe then other parks. Example: Rentals - $100.00 per day plus tax (after hours fee - $30.00 plus tax). The Recreation Hall is a great place to hold community events, private parties and reunions. This large facility holds up to 250 people and has central heat and air conditioning to ensure that guests are comfortable year round. Attractive banquet tables and folding chairs are in the building as a convenience. Kitchen facilities (hot water, stove, refrigerator, wash sinks) offer the added advantage of preparing your meal on the premises.

The golf here is great! Three 9 hole layouts that are in wonderful condition, especially considering the rounds played annually. The price is cheap and provides a great bargain. The staff is also very friendly!

My husband , dog and I love this park . Nice big dog park for our baby , well taken care of. Lots of rolling hills , like being outside of florida . Even has a great big lake for my husband to fish , and lots of things for me to do when I get bored of watching him catch "all those fish" . Havent rented a canoe yet , but maybe tommorow . Going with friends for a barbecue , can't belive this place is free !! Great safe atmosphere , don't tell anyone :)
