By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/12/11
The planetarium and aquarium are great. My kids got to see the lady feeding their sharks. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Kids love it!
By Seth, 12/9/11
Great place for kids to both learn and burn off some energy. Both my younger child (2) and my older (9) love going here. They enjoy all the exhibits and interactive stations. Fun for all ages!

Can't wait to come back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/9/11
My family and I went to the museum for my father's 70th birthday. Everyone LOVED it - including my teenagers! The front desk staff was helpful and very knowledgable. The man who helped us answered all of our questions and then some. We saw and loved the new Holiday planetarium show. We'll definitely be coming back again soon!

Fantastic!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/9/11
We loved everything about this museum - yes, it is not the Smithsonian but my kids loved it so much. They got to look through a huge telescope at night and see the rings of Saturn! They also got to talk on the radio at their new radio station at the museum. They even typed their name in Morse Code! Overall, this place is the best I have seen it in years and we loved their big bamboo shark in the aquarium. The kids got to touch a sea star too which they loved....cant wait to go back!

Stay Away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/5/11
I cannot believe they can call this place a museum! There is absolutely nothing to do. The place is tiny and the admission is WAY overpriced.

Palm Beach deserves better than this!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/14/11
Small and spares. Rude staff. Overpriced admission. Skip this and go to Ft. Lauderdale.

Science exploring is improving!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/9/10
I hadn't been to the museum in quite a few years. Just recently I decided to take my 3 year old son to see what is new and how he would react. He immediately loved the "twister" exhibit! Such a cool thing to see it form and be able to touch it. There was a new toy exhibit and we had some fun with that. The miniature golf was a plus too, though I think it could be a bit bigger and more exciting. I wish the bathrooms were cleaner and smelled better, but maybe the museum can renovate them sometime soon. I remember some really cool exhibits (like robots and weather simulators) that used to be on display years ago and I wonder what happened to them. I hope they make a re-appearance someday and that the museum can expand. It also needs some TLC- new paint, better signage, repairs to OLD exhibits and such. Maybe even add a playground outside. Overall though it was the perfect place to take my little boy for a few hours. We'll be back and looking for new interactive things.

Great Mommy and Me Classes
By SHAWNARI, 5/25/10
We love the Museum and Me classes. My son and I spent 7 weeks learning all about the Everglades by touching an alligator and apple snails. We created several crafts and loved music and storytime. We are looking forward to the next session all about the ocean. Its a great value too, $75 for 7 weeks. Check it out, I know anyone with little ones will love to spend this special time together.

Fantastic Fun!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/16/09
Today was a teacher workday, so we tried the Museum. I have an 11 year old and a 3 year old and they were both entranced. We played golf, watched a planetarium show, and they spent hours building with the lego knex pieces. The staff was super friendly, the Museum itself was spotlessly clean and certainly did not smell of mold - we are all sensitive to it and would have left immediately. The whole day cost under $20 (total for all of us!); what a bargain. We'll be back.
