Description

Head east on Lake Worth Road and you'll eventually get to this popular beach. With many shops and restaurants just across the street, you can enjoy an ice cream cone while admiring the ocean, or go down to the sand and catch some rays. You may take a walk down the popular Lake Worth pier and see if the fishermen are getting any bites. Although this beach becomes quite crowded during the peak season, it's a fun way to spend a few hours year round. Bring quarters for parking.

Horrible beach!! nothing but scum!

This beach is nasty, trash everywhere, and filled with low life scum. Me and a friend went and it is unsafe to walk the strip if your a girl the low life of lake worth visit here so be careful if you go!! its better to go to palm beach which if straight down okeechobee road. allows dogs, friendly people and its clean

Park next to Lake Worth Beach

The beach area has deteriorated, largely because of hurricanes a couple of years ago. Next to Lake Worth beach is a park that is very nice, with showers, water fountain and bathrooms. The park is grassy and has good tree cover. A few steps down from the park is the beach with lifeguards on duty. Lake Worth Beach was lovely years ago, but needs to go a long way to get back.

Wonderful Beach in a less pompous atmosphere

Not far from the Exclusive Beaches in Palm Beach is the Lake Worth Beach area and boardwalk. Unlike the Palm Beach are this beach is more accessible and has more amenities. John G's Beach side restaurant is right here and the boardwalk has more stores.
