Carlin Park, Jupiter

This is the place to be! The beach is wonderful and kept clean, the sand is soft, and the atmosphere is so relaxing!! Thanks to Friends of Jupiter Beach, the beach is cleaned by volunteers ever first Saturday of the month! You can go at different times of the year to find some interesting things wash up on shore! I've collected shark teeth, fossilized coral, and exotic shells there before! I love the rolling dunes and sea grapes by the boardwalk they really add to the atmosphere! I think the best part on shore is the hills of sand! It is so fun to dig into the walls of the hills and make caves! i even dug a slide out of one once and used my boogie board to slide down! Once you get into the water you will be satisfied as well! If you pay attention to the weather forecast you will notice that some days the sea is calm which is great for snorkeling or taking a dip, and others the seas can be a little rough which is great for surfing, body boarding, or even learning how to use that skim-board! I love going there at night especially, the water is still very warm from the daytime and the seas are gentle. If I was older I'd probably take someone there on a romantic trip at sunrise. The sun rises above the water in beautiful pinks and purples and reds. While the water reflects the light with the gentle whooshing of waves. I have even seen someone get married on that beach before! Oh and if your an artist looking to work somewhere peaceful and inspiring, this is the place! I like to draw a lot and I came here once to sketch a picture and it turned out being one of my best!! The cafe they have has great food its a yummy place to get breakfast before heading to the beach. The game courts and fields are big and fun to play on, and the parks are great! They have 3 specialized for different age groups so everyone can enjoy! Gosh, I'm 13 and I still love hanging out in the older kids park with my friends after a scorching day at the beach. Overall it is a wonderful place that I think everyone would enjoy!
