Atrociously rude person on the phone
I called Saturday to ask about some vintage linens I wished to sell, lovely things with very fine work. I spoke to a woman who rudely and imaptiently told me that it might be worth her time to look at the linens, but curtly told me that she didn't have time to talk to me further, and that she had "a customer".
I wasn't a "customer"? Could she have said, 'I'm sorry, I would love to talk with you further, but I'm with a customer right now. May I take your number and call you back in a few minutes?"
I guess that might show a little bit too much class and courtesy. i will NEVER recommend this business to anyone. How tacky.
