Description

The Lake Worth Playhouse, founded in 1953, continues to grow and thrive in its historic downtown Lake Worth location. The main stage, formerly a vaudeville house, was built in 1924 and seats 300. Showing more than 100 performances per year, which include dance, plays, musicals and children's productions, it takes a great deal of pride in its status as a community theatre, and gives credit for its growth to local volunteers.

information on volnteer time with your team.

walk the play house at least once a week. please let me know if I can become a volunteer person I am friendly and helpful. I do live right her in Lake worth and walking distrance from down town. Please let me know and the bast time to talk to some one about volunteer time Thank you

1st time series attendees

The 2004-2005 was our 1st time attending the playhouse, every play was a winner. It was such a rewarding experience. We already have the 2005-2006 series. The performers are all star quality.

Annie Get Your Gun- Oct 17 2004

I went to an evening show on October 17 for an evening show of Annie Get Your Gun. It was fantastic, the cast all worked together very well. The three children, Kit DeZolt, Isabel Fergenson, and Logan Defranco were adorable, and great little actors and singers. I personally thought Chief Sitting Bull had the most humorous lines through out the performance, and the actor Emmet Stegall played the line serious. The best part was Jaclyn Enea, the star, Miss Annie Oakley, she took the stage by storm.
