Avenues Mall (The), Jacksonville

I lOVE THIS MALL.iT IS very clean it is a beatifull mall.I am A kid And I love sports.They had alot of sports stores also J.C Penny has an assortment of nike also.Also it has quicksilver very cool.But the quicksilver is pretty pricey.The food court is awesome I love all the yummy resturans there.They have this awesome store called Brookstone.,They have masage chairs and holographic clocks.All the latest tecnology.I went here with a friend.We had a fun experience.Over all I give this mall a thumbs up.

i love this mall, compared to a few of the malls here in st louis. i just love florida period. will be back this summer for more shopping

It's an ok mall, but I would have to tell you that it lacks latest fashions. Its kinda stuck in last year. I guess if your in highschool and like to hang out there its a great mall.

the mall is a perfect saturday highschool hangout spot :]. all the stores are super great too. :]. Never go the day after thanksgiving though. hehe.

I like it because it had absolutely everything i wanted and needed.It isnt hard to find what you need there because of the friendly staff.

i love the stores and the food i loved the build a bear my kids loved it. i alloyed it to all sink in after going to the fast lanes bowling ally on the mayport base.

I love the shops that are in this mall. There is something for everyone. Very upscale, clean and inviting! Definately worth the trip!!

My friends and I were down in Jacksonville for Georgia/Florida weekend. On Friday afternoon, we decided to go out to eat. We ended up at The Avenues at a restaurant called Mimi's Cafe. We expected a long wait time, because it was already crowded outside. While we were waiting, we went to the bar to have some drinks. One of the guys ordered a Bloody Mary from the bartender. She was extremely rude, and snatched his ID from him, when she was checking to make sure he was of age. The drink was made carelessly and sloppy. In addition, the bartender had a major attitude problem. We let that slide, because we were super hungry and just wanted to eat. To make our ordering time shorter, we decided to look over the menus. I approached one of the hosts and asked for a menu to look over. She said "WHAT?!" in a very rude manner, and I repeated the question, asking for a menu. She picked up a menu and literally tossed it at me, and rolled her eyes. NO EXAGERATION! (She looked to be 18 or 19) Meanwhile, the wait staff was all but pushing us out of the way with rude EXCUSE ME'S!! At that point, we decided to give back our pager for our table and walk out. No one acknowledged our presence there. If that was any reflection of the food, I did not want any bit of it. Instead, we took our business to a local restaurant on the beach, and spent over $200 on drinks, food, and the tip. I will NEVER, EVER, EVER recommend Mimi's to anyone. I was very dissatisfied with the service, and that was upon entering the door. I would hate to imagine what the service would have been like if we had decided to stay and eat.

I love to shop at The Avenues Mall b/c it has all my favorite name brand stores like, Abercrombie, Express, The Limited, Areopostale, and it has a Starbucks. If you like to go shopping w/ friends and have a fun time doing it then i will definately reccomend this mall.
