Regency Square Mall
Rejuvenated in 1992, Regency Square offers shoppers 170 shops, including anchor stores—Dillard's, Sears, Belk and JC Penney. The single level offers shoppers plenty of other diversions as well, with special events occurring regularly and a two-story food court for the starved. There is an AMC Theater, where shoppers can park non-shoppers. At the 'City Hall in the Mall' kiosk, visitors can access city-related government services, such as job opportunities, voter registration and even free internet access.
People I think need 2 stop judgeing Regency Mall as a "Ghetto way" beacuse really do you even know wat ghetto is? Yea that mall might be like that. But think u need 2 look at everyones culture. Now i am not sayin that ghetto is a culture but in a way it is. and i think its a wonderful mall and i dont have a problem with it. its a good place 2 go. and yes friday nights and saturday r crowded but most malls r and just like the movies and other places..teens r goin 2 go out so repect that.and respect that people cant have everything and u cant judge people on how they look.its wrong! but it your choice
I LOVE Regency Mall! Its near my house (in Arlington). I can get all my shopping done in ONE place! I hit up Sephora in JcPenneys then head over to New York and Co (my fav), then let the kids at the train for a minute or two (only $2!!) then I hit the health food store bath and body, then the food court, they just had A&D buffalos open up and they have the BEST gyro (I love their tiziki(sp?) sauce!), I HAVE to get the kids a pretzel, then of course off to the play area in the west mall and if the older kids are behaving i let them lose at Lunar Golf! AND when i was walking through doing my weekly shopping, someone gave me FREE train tokens! Woo Hoo!! I'd recommend this mall to anyone.
I love this place . and unlike you boring midd-40 people who still trying to be in the mall on fridays and saturdays knowning that it is a teen night. I'm just trying to say i enjoy my slef and have fun and talk to my friends and eat and sometimes go see a movie . And you see on the other days monday tuesday, wednesday, thursday, and sunday ya'll can go on all them days and we dont be there to be in yall way . So it's equal to me plus it's a free country and we go where we please.
I have traveled all over this country and have never been to a mall that has such rude and incosiderate people in it.I will not go to this mall anymore because of all the rude people. The shops aren't too bad. Weekends/weekdays don't even matter. If I say excuse me people just stare at me like I'm from another planet! The dirty looks and rudeness from the people and the shops employees just aren't worth it to me. I thought curteous & hospitality were something the south prided themselves on. If your expecting this, do not go to this mall.
the regency square mall use to be a really good place to shop! every thing was really nice! but now, especially of the last decade it had gone down hill. in my words and obviouslly those of others,it has taken on a ghetto look! and if your smart or dont want to be over crowded then you definitly would not go on friday... even saturday. now i grew up in this area and have always went here to shop. and i wont denie, when you need to go shopping you can always go there! but it definitly needs a make over!! and some new and better stores would be nice!
