The prices are higher then on line but I get it right away and average out once you add shipping and I get to SEE what I am purchasing. They will order anything if they can find it which I think is great.

Expect price changes, not pleased last time was there. Been buying things for a ling time there(even i moved 20 mils away) I was very pleased with the owner, store and prices to. T was always polite and a great host. More than 10-percent up the prices that i checked last time i was there. So suggest check online before and save yourself a trip,probably be the same with shipping to your door. Still nice and clean store.

In some ways we tend to expect less from smaller, locally-owned stores than from their corporate counterparts... Bio-Max is the exception. As an avid natural foodie I'm always inpressed by the selection of groceries and supplements they manage to stock daily, but the outstanding staff is also always happy to do special orders for anything we ask for. Equally impressive is the pricing, which typically falls slightly under the chain supermarket rates. And they're right here at the beach! Highly recommend giving them a visit.

I've lived at the beach 2 years then moved away but still live only 4 miles away from Biomax. How did I not hear about this place sooner?!! I kept seeing the Biomax name and was referred to it by another raw food enthusiast. So I finallly went. I LOVE Bio-Max. The service is unmatched. Right away I was greeted by the owner who asked how i heard of the store. He wanted to know what would have attracted me or others like me to the store sooner. He even asked if there was anything that I was looking for in the store that was't available. There were indeed 2 items. He ordered both items for me and told me when to pick up. I cannot ask for better service! Plus I notice the prices are slightly cheaper than other health food stores. It's my new fav store!

Having worked in retail sales and customer service my entire career, I well know the importance of putting the customer first. As a new resident to the Beaches area, I ventured into Bio-Max to check it out as it reminded me of my neighborhood health foods store in the NC mountains. I was greeted by Ty, the owner, and he immediately offered to show me around and inquire as to what I was looking for. I was very impressed. Every supplement that I take was on the shelves and available for purchase. The store was and is always immaculate. Ty made sure that I had a business card with the store email address and assured me that he could have any special order within a day or so. I venture to say that one can find anything here that can be found in the larger, "chain" type health food stores...and at competetive pricing. The best thing is walking in the door and being recognized by name and having someone right there with you to answer any question, explain a product, and simply make you feel special. If you have not visited Bio-Max, I urge you to do so.
