Florida Ballet at Jacksonville, Jacksonville

The only professional dance company in Jacksonville, this not-for-profit group of talented dancers performs a subscription series each year at the Florida Theatre (The) , located downtown off I-95 and Main Street. The much-loved performance of the Nutcracker Suite is a favorite during the holiday season in December. If you are an aspiring ballerina or dancer, inquire about their professional training program called Florida Ballet II. The season begins in late October and ends in April, with an occasional summer performance. Florida Theatre seats up to 2,000 people.
