Big "M" Casino Cruise
If you're in the mood for some Las Vegas-style roulette, blackjack, or slot machines, try The Big "M" Casino Cruises, departing twice daily from Moss Marine on Fort Myers Beach. Each cruise lasts five and a half hours, and offers a lunch buffet and a dinner buffet. Parking is free. The ship does not have elevators, so those in wheelchairs are restricted to the first floor, which is where the gambling is. The second floor is the dining room and the third has entertainment.
Staff was so rude! buffet was terrible and there is a waitress there named MELISSA BEWARE OF HER SHE WILL TRY AND SHORT CHANGE YOU AND STEEL YOUR MONEY! The Big M Girls will not wait on you if your a woman, guys only cause they can shake thier butts and push thier chests out for a good tip I tryed getting a drink from both of them for a hour till i got mad and went to the bar and got it myself. Unless your a regular on the boat the staff will not even dsay hi to you. I went on this boat for a good time and it was far from it.
I love going on the Big M Casino boat. The food is great, the employees are very courteous and attentive. You really and truly get your money's worth. At the upper deck, the music is great although I prefer having Pearl and Sachet rather than the disk jockey! That I must say was a great loss!
It was a nice sunset boat ride for the first hour or two. Other than that, the food was lousy...very salty and greasy and not much to choose from and you hardly win when gambling. By the end of the night you cant wait to dock and get off of the boat. It was pretty boring. I never do it again. The people I was with said the same.
I absolutely love the Big M Casino. It is such a relaxing time and the hours just fly by. The slots are much looser than the closest casino in Immokalee. Their buffet lucnch is great! Best of all, you always get a chance to meet interesting people. I recommend it to anyone!
Compared to all the other gambling cruises in Florida comes in last, overbooked and no seats, an obvious lack of winners and way to much smoke in the air. Other ships are no charge Big M charges for everything the slots are tight with minimum winnings payed out. Not recomended for anyone who wishes to play with a chance to win.
The food was satisfactory, the food area very clean and the server was very pleasant. The waitress was fast and there for all of our needs. The ship was clean for the most part. Priced a little higher then the other ships we have been on in Florida. No deals for first time players on board this ship. The day we were on was not overly loaded with passengers and was a first trip for us. THE DOWNSIDE: Ventilation on the main deck was poor so we could not play there due to the smoke. After dark we couldn't get outside because the lights were off and it was to dangerous to be out there. Stuck inside for the hour long ride in to shore. Lastly and most importantly, Only about 45 seconds was given that they were turning the machines off. Other cruise lines give notice that they will be closing the machines in a few minutues. My particules machine was in the middle of paying out after hitting a jackpot with an attendant standing right there and the machine stopped working becuse the computer shut it down. I could not hear the announcment because my machine was making to much noise. All three employees said they had never seen that happen before, but tried to tell me that the machine paid everything that I had coming to me. MY SUGGUESTION: GIVE A 5 MINUTE NOTICE TO THE PLAYERS THAT THE MACHINES ARE GOING TO CLOSE.
i would recommend the big m to anybody. They are friendly caring. They have wonderful food for dining. If there are no seats for gambling thats telling you one thing they are wining somewhere. You can have fun just watching the dolphins swim on the side of the boat.see the jelly fish. The night cruise is wonderful just as well. So go and enjoy and have fun. An old time friend lou
